FIDIC Contracts Training

Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, FIDIC is the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (the acronym stands for Fédération Internationale des Ingénieurs-Conseils).

IDIC represents the interests of National Association of Consulting Engineers of which 95 countries are members. The organisation formal mission is as follows:

    Contract Management Course ( 1 or 2 days)

    For post award contract management the following learning topics are covered: contract kick-off, record keeping & filing, systems, communication, meetings, daily site reports, technical queries, technical deviations, site instructions, contract variations and claims, damage reports, reports, reimbursable personnel, insurance certificates, key peformance indicators, contract completion, handover, performance testing and contract close-out.

    Claim Management - Avoidance & Defence Course ( 1 day)

    The following learning topics are covered: record keeping, document control and management, best practices, training, do's and don'ts per administration category, self assessment checklists.

    Negotiation Course (1 day)

    Our course is tailored to complex claims negotiations where many factors, events and issues need to be negotiated in order to resolve and settle a EPC, EPCI or construction claim. Learning topics covered are negotiation process steps, negotiation techniques, body language, cultural influences, case studies and practice.
